 Hamill's Killer - Ontario version
 hook   size 6-14 standard wire, 3X-long, turned down eye, streamer (Mustad 9672)
 thread   6/0 standard, tan, brown or black
 tail   Clump of black squirrel tail or brown bear partly veiled with a Golden Pheasant tippet feather
 body   Yellow chenille, medium
 wing   Two mallard flank feathers dyed forest green and tied flat on top of the hook
 head   Tying thread


 Hamill's Killer - New Zealand version
 hook   size 6-14 standard wire, 3X-long, turned down eye, streamer (Mustad 9672)
 thread   6/0 standard, black
 tail   Clump of black squirrel tail
 body   Yellow or red wool
 wing   Two to four mallard flank feathers dyed forest green and tied on the sides of the hook
 head   Tying thread
