Fly Tying January 8, 2009
Session Leader: Greg Herring
 Al's Foam Hopper
 hook   Mustad 9671, 9672 or any other standard 1x or 2x long hook, Size 10 (or maybe 8)
 thread   6/0 standard, colour to match under-body
 body   Tan closed cell foam (other colours: yellow, brown or olive)
 underbody   Yellow, cream, or light olive yarn or dubbing; Ultra-chenille or pre-formed commercial dubbing ropes may also be suitable
 head   Brown, dark olive or similar dark dubbing
 wing   Elk hair tied the same as in an Elk Hair Caddis or Stimulator wing
 overwing   Pheasant "church window" feather or brown mottled hen feather
 legs   Red rubber leg material
 rib   Copper or gold wire, or Green or Brown UNI Stretch

In case we have enough time to tie another fly, please also bring some olive or pearl Flashabou, some orange/yellow dubbing and some brown game cock hackle (if you have them).

Note: Greg has generously offered to bring enough closed-cell foam for all participants in the session.
