New Venue for 2012 Symposium

Latvian Canadian Cultural Centre

The Latvian Canadian Cultural Centre is located at 4 Credit Union Drive, off Eglinton Avenue East, just east of the Don Valley Parkway. It offers convenient highway access, free parking for 72 cars and great facilities in a classic, 1960s-modernist building. There is a good hotel within walking distance.

| This is a view of the main assembly room looking south. This room can easily accommodate more than 100 people seated. Rectangular tables can be placed along the perimeter to accommodate exhibitors. Round tables can be placed in the centre to allow for eating and conversation. The LCCC will arrange tables and chairs per our requirements.

This is a view of the main assembly room looking north to the entrance from the central hallway. The kitchen / servery is behind the curved wall. The LCCC's catering service will be making our lunches, which will be served from here. The assembly room will also be where we will have our opening and closing.

All classrooms have abundant natural light, comfortable chairs and tables suitable for clamp-style vises as well as pedestal vises. Floor to ceiling soundproof dividers allow the classrooms to be divided in half.
The main assembly room and the classrooms are all on the second floor of the building.
